According to his obituary, his parents were Wesley and Nellie White. The obituary mentions a brother Stanley and the 1930 census shows two more brothers, David and James.

WHITE -- George "Wes", 85, of Tulsa, passed away Monday, June 5, 2006. He is survived by his wife Ursula, whom he met and married in Berlin, Germany, at the end of WWII. His 2 sons, Raymond W. and Stephen S. preceded him in death. He is also survived by: his brother, Stanley and family of Drumright, OK. Wes was born in Shamrock, OK, on April 25, 1921, to Wesley and Nellie White. After graduating from high school, he moved to Tulsa to attend Business College; after Pearl Harbor, he enlisted in the Army, spending 5 years in the European Theater. He returned with his wife and son to the states in 1948. On the outbreak of the Korean conflict, he was recalled to active duty and served in Japan, Korea and the United States before serving in the reserves for 39 years, retiring with the rank of Colonel, Special Forces (Green Beret's). Wes was a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, in Leavenworth, KS. He also earned a degree from the University of Tulsa and taught 20 years in the Tulsa Public Schools. A Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2006, in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 252-2518
