Thanks for the information. I came across the website after I had posted my query.

I find that often women who served as sheriff are simply listed with their initials and last name. Unless there was a "Mrs." before their name or unless they had an obvious female first name, it is often difficult to distinguish if any of them were women.

These ladies keep popping up and I sure don't want to miss any of them.
