I show John W. WOods as living with his son Amos K., as listed in the 1880 census for Shackelford, Texas. He is listed as age 68, so I am assuming that he may have died shortly after that period, but don't have his location of grave. I do not know the Emeline's maiden's name. Do you have information on JOhn W. Wood's parents? Did Sarah Woods go to Texas, from Missouri following the Civil War? I'd appreciate any info you have on this line.
