I am glad I could help you. I go to Washita County as often as my schedule allows. I just love it out there!
I am sure your ancestors knew my ancestors who settled in the Port and Retrop areas. My great-great-uncle by marriage, L.W. Mathews, was postmaster at Port.
The remains of my ancestors' home in Retrop can be found along the road to Port going north from the Retrop Cemetery.
One other bit of Pollard info I found from my searches of the Sentinel newspaper was a marriage between Gertrude Pollard and Claud Witty in the issue dated 1-1-1925. Not sure if this is pertinent to your research.
