Pam, again Thanks! It is very likely that our forbears knew each other because people in that day knew people in the same area. Around 1910, my Great Grandfather Joe Roper ran a General Store at Sentinel and it is very likely that he knew your folks as well. He also wrote a newspaper article about gas and oil which is in the Sentinel Herald I believe.
