My Grandpa, Victor Morton Arndt, born 19 Nov 1897, listed his place of birth on his ss application as Sand Creek, Woodward Co. OK. But the tele operator tells me there is no such place...Is there actually water flowing through the county called Sand Creek? Maybe they homesteaded there. His parents were Simeon Arndt and Altona (Fulgroad) Does anyone out ther have access to land records? I understand this was still a territory at that time. Any help is appreciated.
