Nicholas Columbus Fankhouser (Frankhouser) married Maude Irene Tam about 1910, probably in or near Kiowa County, Kansas. As far as I know, they had one daughter, Lesta L. Fankhouser. She was living in Los Angeles in 1930 and was about 19 years of age. I suspect that she married a Barney Laird, (or at least a Laird), probably in Kansas.
I believe Lesta's last residence was Woodward County, Oklahoma. There are a number of Lairds who are listed on the SSDI, whose last residences are in Woodward Co., OK, including Lesta.
If anyone has any information on this Laird family, please contact me.
