In reading the online Oklahoman, I came across an article under date of 6-21-1928 where there was a woman sheriff by the name of Anna J. B________. Her last name was illegible in the online article. At the end of the article it said her husband had passed away during his term of office and she had taken on the job.
Doese anyone reading this board know the exact name of this couple. I am doing some reserch for a person out of state and I believe this is the family that she is searching for but I need to know the correct spelling of the last name.
Any information appreciated.
