Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
What little I know about the O'Malley's (or O'Maley, or Malley or maybe it was spelled Maley) is this:my gr-great grandparents were from County Mayo (we believe), Ireland: Peter and Honora Maley (I am using my father's .pdf version of the family tree but no one is 100% certain how the family name is spelled, considering my mother's mother's side of the family didn't really share too much family history....). They had at least one daughter, Mary Ellen, who was born in Manchester, England in 1866, while the Maley's were immigrating from Ireland (or so the story goes). She was my gr-grandmother.
Mary Ellen was married to Andrew Simons, who was born in 1855. He was from Dayton, OH. We don't know much about Andrew's side, except his parents were: Simon and Elizabeth. I'm presuming Elizabeth's maiden name was Christaman.
