Eileen, as far as the spelling "Katherine", no, but the 11th child's name was spelled "Catherine". So there may be some confusion on the information you have. The other daughters names were Honnour, Mary, and Honnour H., maybe this will help.
I'm starting to research my family tree and genealogy, and am interested in communicating with anyone who is conducting dna projects for O'Malleys or the related spellings or who would be interested in starting one up.I am the son of a son of a son, etc.
So far I have gotten back to Michael O'Malley, born 8/1/1787 in Westport, county Mayo,Ireland-died 5/25/1854 in Westport,Dane county,Wisconsin,USA. I currently live in Madison,WI, please feel free to email me. Thanks!
