Lawrence O'Malley passed away at his home in the north part of town on Wednesday (Apr.3) morning at ten o'clock, after a three month's illinss. His sickness started with hemmorhage of the lungs, which developed into pneumonia, followed by quick consumption.
Deceased was born in Bureau county in 1859, but lived the greater part of his life southwest of this city, being th son of the late Michael O'Malley. In 1880 he united in marriage with Bridget Garrity, who, with five children, survives him.
The funeral services were held from the SS. Peter and Paul's church on Thursday morning and the remains interred in the Catholic cemetery. The bereaved wife and children and other relatives in this vicinity have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
