hello ev1,I need some help finding out who built and repaired roads streets hwys, in and around countys of washington-clackamas oregon..includeing rail lines I have photos of my grandfather underwood with crew clearing timber and others laying something maybe tar on road.... years around 1920s to 30s. note-I dont think he was a logger tho maybe he fell a few trees-in his younger days he laid rail lines across canada before arriveing in oregon 1880s from BC Canada-are there any books I may go and find?did your great grand or grandfather work to build roads in these areas? Id love to hear from anyone.Fred roads made of wood from aloha to portland?
