I am looking for descendents of Robert and Rachel THOMPSON (of Morgan County, OH) who settled in Marquam around 1853. Two of their daughters married ROBBINS brothers of Mollala. One son (Wade) married a SCOTT from Scott's Mill. They are the brother and sister-in-law of my gg grandmother Mary Ann THOMPSON HARRIS. Also looking for descendents of Elizabeth THOMPSON DRAKE and John Melanthon DRAKE (Morgan County, OH), who settled Marquam on land adjacent to the THOMPSONs. Elizabeth was the sister of Mary Ann THOMPSON HARRIS. Elizabeth and John were the grandparents of June DRAKE, Oregon photographer. I am hoping to find additional background on their Oregon Trail trip and, possibly, letters and photos. If you reply, please put THOMPSON-DRAKE in the subject line of your e-mail message.
