Let me use some common sense for this. First, we need her date of birth, or approximate. So, using the census information below. She was born late 1899 to very early 1900. This is based on her age and the date of the census enumeration. Since the 1920 census was enumerated on January 5th and she was listed as 20 (yes there are age errors on the census), she "probably" was born in 1899 or the first 4 days of January 1900. So, based on that, the second of the two found by the other poster, "Shotgun", could not be the right person. In 1930, there were 37 "Mary Goff/Goffe/etc." The 1930 Census had a Mary L. Goff in Portland, she was born about 1922. That census was enumerated on April 9th. So, the first one "found" is not correct either. I looked in the 1930 Census for both or either of them. I found no Mary Goff* (where * adds any letters following) born plus minus 5 years of 1900. No findings. If you have the marriage certificate, it might further identify Henry (I also searched for Harry as a common sub-name). His DOB would help. ANY additional from Colorado on them would help. Did they have children in CO? As far as for Sandy, Oregon...pretty hard to find them from here. Try the volunteers at the Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness, you can only email one at a time. But, one might have access to local Sandy, Or, records, possibly city directory (Polks), if it is big enough to have had one. http://www.raogk.com/oregon.htm http://www.kindredtrails.com/OR_Clackamas.html As far as death certificates, marriage, etc. Oregon has privacy laws that might hurt your search, so, you'd have to ask for local help. Below is Census records that you may or may not have already.
