Sally:
We lived there for the 50-51 school year. Then, we moved to the old Woodland Inn, some 2 miles south of town. Later it became the Woodland Deer Park. The original building (a huge and fancy log structure) burned years ago.
My one claim to fame was that I accidently started a small forest fire behind our house, shooting off skyrockets. Thankfully, nobody pointed a finger at me.
In the summer of 53, we moved on to California, with a new step-father.
