Stella E. Swope 77 died at her home 310 north Sixth street, thursday May 2, 1946. She was born in Henry County Mo. on feb 19,1869 and had been a resident of this community since 1919. She was a member of Josephine Chapter No.28 Order of the Eastern Star and Zuleima Temple Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by her husband C.A. Swope of Grants Pass Oregon.Private funeral services will be held Wednesday May 8 2;30 p.m. at the L.B. Hall funeral home, with the reverand J. Alfred Marquam officating. Internment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Grants Pass Oregon. A request has been made that flowers be omitted.
