There is a good possibility that it could be some kin. We know that my grandfather lived in the Eugene area and owned land. He left the area in 1910 and moved to Florida. Apparently, he married my grandmother in Florida and took that family back to oregon for a few years in the 20's. They returned to Florida around 1928 to 1930.
