The index of marriages in Oregon from 1946 - 1960 doesn't have a Walter HALBERG listed.
The city directories of Eugene, Oregon for 1959 and 1960 show Walter H. HALBERG with wife Teresa L. or Theresa L.
The city directory of Eugene for 1958 shows Walter H. HALBERG at the same address without a wife.
(If I had to guess, I'd say Reno, Nevada would be the place to look for their marriage. In earlier years, Vancouver, Washington was also a popular spot for out-of-state marriages.)
