Hi Judy,
Thanks for your information and useful advice. I was not aware that one could write to a newspaper and ask for a copy of an obituary. Is this also possible when the obituary was printed so many years ago?
Neither did i know of RAOGK - that's a very useful site for people like me from outside the U.S. Actually i was so fortunate that a volunteer from Lane, OR, did contact me shortly after my initial post in this forum and kindly offered his help, and he has been extremely helpful.
