Sheri, you may or may not have this research. Please forgive me if it is not something new. In the Oregon Marriage Index, I find Glenn Ellwood Sprague marriage on 11 Sep 1916. This same Index shows Odessa Lois Ulen marriage on the same date in Multnomah County. The 1900 Census for Florence, Fremont County, Colorado Philip Sprague, 31, born January 1869 in Ohio to father born in England, mother in Ohio, stationery engineer, married 9 years Emma E, 29, born Oct 1870 in Maryland to both parents born in Maryland. She was mother of none. --This appears to be the same Philip as found below, but where is Glenn? The 1910 Census for Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. Philip E. Sprague, age 41, born in Ohio to father born in England, mother in Pennsylvania, house contractor. Married first, for 20 years Emma E. age 39, marriage first, mother of 1, 1 living, born in Maryland. Glenn E., age 19, born in Ohio to father born in Ohio, mother in Maryland --From the data in this census, Glenn was the son of Emma. But, this is a common "error" in the census. You may have specific birth index for him. --The 1930 Census had Glenn E, age 39 living with above, born in Ohio to father born in Ohio, mother in Maryland. The 1920 Census for Kendall, Multnomah County, OR Glenn E. Sprague, age 30, born in Ohio to father born in Ohio, mother in Maryland Odessa, age 26, born in Iowa to father born in Kentucky, mother in Oregon. Just below them on the census: Hamilton E. Ulen, age 49, born in Kentucky Daisy I, age 47, born in Oregon Anna E, age 17, born in Oregon Mary L. Turner, sister-in-law (to Hamilton), divorced, born in Oregon. --So Glenn was living next door to his in-laws. --- The 1930 census had Hamilton and Daisy living by themselves. Sometimes a grandchild can be found living in the household of the grandparents. Ron Bestrom Notify Administrator about this message?
