I'm not sure which name comes first William or James, but my great grandfather was either James William or William James Snyder. He married Rosella Bell UNKNOWN.

I don't know if this is my great grandparent's. I haven't been able to find any more info on this couple or any children. If I or anyone else can find them with children it would help to verify if they are mine. I have been told they once lived at:
The Snyder family is from Fort Gay, Kentucky.
Lived at South Williamson, WV during 1920's
James may have died in Boardland, WV.
Source: Harrison Jessie says James lived in Pliney Flats, TN and that he moonshined and had been caught by the law and killed 2 Revenuers that came to arrest him. He then walked to Boardland, WV just outside of Williamson, WV. (I would like to find newspaper clippings or something to confirm this)
James & Rosella Bell lived at Nolan, West Virginia around the year 1928. She was of German blood. I have a picture of both James & Rosella.
My aunt Ruby Jessie Ramey said that Rosella was called "THE BELL OF THE NIGHT". I haven't heard that term bef. but I think its not good, lol.
Rosella had a son bef. marrying James Snyder. His name was Charles Mann. Ruby Ramey said Charles was Rosella's first born. Who was his father?

I don't know if my info is correct but I have James b. Piney Flatts, TN.
I desperately want to find out what his and Rosella's parent’s names were so I can break this brick wall down and move on.

Christine, Faye, Bonnie, Patty Ann, Forrest Jr, and Norma (I have photos of each child and Forrest Sr)
Ruby Ramey said Forrest Sr. left War, WV, went to New Port News, VA., died at Huntington, WV., Hospital.
3. Lee Roy or Leroy b. 1898 and died 1971 California, spouse unknown to me, had sonLee Roy Snyder II. (Names and dates from Headstone)
4. Maxine (my grandmother) born Abt. 1901 Louisa, Lawrence County, Kentucky and died abt. 1932 when my dad Harrison Jessie Jr was 4 years old. My dad was named aft. his father's twin brother.
Maxine died of Blood poisoning after having an tooth extracted.
She married Henry James Jessie s/o Richard Thompson & Jane McClanahan Jessie. Richard b. Aug 1868 Virginia and Jane born May 1880 Poplar Creek, Buchanan County, Virginia and died 02 Mar 1954 Paw Paw, Pike County, Kentucky. 1900 Buchanan County VA census said marriage date was 1887 and they'd been married 13 years. Aft. Richard's death (crushed by fallen tree while logging) she married Thomas Jackson.
5. Hazel Bertha Snyder b. 01 Apr 1909 Louisa, Lawrence County, Kentucky and d. 09 Feb 1974 Newport, Lincoln County, Oregon.
1. She met Gabriel Jackson b. 26 Oct 1907 and d. 06 Dec 1970.
They had:
Edward Carl b. 25 Mar 1925 Nolan, West Virginia and d. 22 Dec 1991 Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.
2. She met Elkanah Wolford b. 31 May 1902 and d. 04 May 1984. He helped raise Carl and they gave him the Wolford name.
3. She married Stallard C. Charles Aft. 1936, he was b. 24 Oct 1905 and d. 09 Jul 1989 Eddyville, Lincoln County, Oregon. Burial, 13 Jul 1989, Eureka Cemetery & Mausoleum, Eddyville, Lincoln County, Oregon.
NOTES FOR HAZEL:
When Hazel and Gabe (never married) separated she took Carl to Myjestic, Pike County, Kentucky.
Obit said she was born in Coretta, WV.

Could her name be May Fields? And could Marion G. Jessie be Marion George Jessie? With George being named aft him?
A search of West Virginia deaths shows George Jessie 15 Dec 1913 Ohio Co, KY, lived at North Matewan, Mingo Co, WV and died 24 Nov 1965 Welch, McDowell Co, WV, burial 27 Nov 1965, Buskirk, KY. S/o Marion Jessie & Mary Field.
Did Mary have a brother named Emsey Fields?
