I am at a bit of a loss to find anything regarding Alexander's up-lineage in Scotland... might you know how to do that? I contacted Random Acts Genealogical Kindness, www.raogk.org two years into my search for ancestors with no response, but thankfully, people on this site have been extremely helpful!
