Thanks for your reply. Yes I have a subscription to Ancestry. Milton is my grandfather. I knew him personally. I am trying to find more information on his father Amos Carver Smith. I only have the info from the census about Milton and his mother Mary Anderson that says many different places he was born. One says England, one Cal. another Oregon. Mary told the family he or his family were from England or were English. I also have proof of the marriage in Jackson Co. Oregon on 4 July, 1894.I have been searching on all the census for him. Just want to extend my family tree back a little from him. He is my dead end. Looking for a death date on Edward T. Anderson as he is my great grandmothers father. (Mary Anderson) Her mother (Matildia Randles Anderson seemed to live with her most of the time as I find her on 1900,1910 and 1920 census. In the 1920 census said she was widowed. She always went by her maiden name of Randles. I am trying to prove that Edward Andersons parents are Isaac and Mary Anderson found on an 1860 census. His age is right. Just trying to go back futher on Joseph Randles and his wife Rebecca(Henry)? I found her family living near by in Oregon also. I have pictures of everyone listed. Just wanted to fill in more history. Thanks Eileen Notify Administrator about this message?
