Jay,
William Wallace Steckel is the son of Samuel J and Lydia A Steckel. I find them living in Jackson Co., OR in 1870 and 1880 and then in Coos Co., OR in 1900. William was born in 1879 in Oregon, father in 1832 in Pennsylvania and mother in 1848 in Oregon. I can provide other census records if you are interested.
Sarah J Corthell is the daughter of Wellman A & Tabartha (?) Corthell. Sarah was born in 1878 in Colorado. Her father was born in 1846 in New York and her mother in 1857 in Illinois. The family moved to Oregon in early 1880 as other children were born in Oregon. I can provide the 1900 census information when they are living in Jackson Co., OR.
