I know there are many Kaylor descendants in Oregon, many of them descended from Henry Frank Kaylor, who migrated to Oregon from North Carolina before the Civil War. For anyone interested, I have information on the North Carolina chapter of the family history and have put most of what I have at this website: http://kaylorfam.blogspot.com It includes an overview of the family history, but most importantly, copies of some old documents from the state archives and various things found in the records.
By the way, if any of Henry Frank Kaylor's descendants have a photo of him, I would love to see it. I have an early 1860's photo of his brother, George Emmanuel Kaylor, who was killed in the Civil War which can be seen here. http://kaylorhistory.blogspot.com
