Jordan/Jourdan migrant worker Oregon

Hey everyone, I would really appreciate any info. or help in this area. I've been working on my family tree for a long time now, and seem to be stuck on this area!

My great-grandfather was Raymond Jourdan. He died 1965 in Republic Marquette, MI.

The name on his birth and death certificates is different, and he was supposedly (according to my grandmother) a migrant worker that was living in Michigan, Canada, and Oregon. (they were migrant pickers in Oregon, moss I believe). The spelling of his last name changed with the towns he moved to, and the trouble he was in with the law. This has proved to be very difficult for me to find anything on his side of the family.

I did get ahold of his birth certificate though. It states his name as RAY JORDAN and his parents as James Jordan and Florence Jordan. Place of birth, village of Stronich, Manistee, MI. Born 1901 and reported for birth certificate 1902. It says Doubline, MI as their residence.

If anyone has any info. or tips of places I might try looking, it would be greatly appreciated! I am looking for info. on the Allens and Jordans of lower Michigan. Thanks!
