Hi Carrie,

Following is the obit you requested. Found in The Newberg Graphic, Thursday, June 11, 1942, page 10.

EMILY JANE JONES WHITLOW
Funeral services were held Sunday from C. A. Hodson and Son chapel for Mrs. Emily Jane Jones Whitlow. Burial was at Pike cemetery. Rev. Gervas Carey officiated.

Mrs. Whitlow was born in Des Moines, Iowa, February 22, 1861, and died at her home in Newebrg June 4, 1942, age 81 years. Her parents were Sarah and John Jones. She was married to Amos Whitlow in Brownsville, Nebraska, December 25, 1879. She came to Oregon 54 years ago and has been a resident of Newberg and vicinity for 40 years.

Survivors are her husband, four sons, and one daughter, 17 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren.
