John Marble 1810 VT and Hester Cobb of IND family - IA>ORE>CA

Hester Cobb was probably born in IND or KY. She married John Marble in 1837 in Muscatine County, IA - the family moved to Oregon and California. I descend from the Cobb family - Hester's brother was John Cobb who moved to California in 1850.

i.       Oliver Perry3 Marble, born Abt. 1840 in Muscatine County, Iowa; died Bef. 1900 in Colusa or Mendocino County, California.
ii.       John Marble, born Abt. 1843 in Muscatine County, Iowa. He married Sarah Ann.
iii.       James Marble, born Abt. 1844 in Muscatine County, Iowa. He married (1) Sarah Crabtree 31 March 1867 in Lake County, CA. He married (2) Bella Colburn 25 November 1884 in Mendocino County, California; born Abt. 1861 in Maine.
iv.       Francis Bascom Marble, born Abt. 1846 in Oregon; died 24 April 1920 in Mendocino County, California.
v.       Elizabeth Marble, born Abt. 1848 in Oregon.
vi.       Mary Marble, born Abt. 1849 in Oregon.
vii.       Walter Brown Marble, born Abt. 1853 in Oregon; died 08 June 1914 in Sonoma County, California.
viii.       Martha Marble, born Abt. 1854.
ix.       Mandana Marble, born 02 May 1857 in Lower Lake, Lake County, California; died 18 February 1943 in Berkeley, Alameda County, California.
x.       Lilly Marble, born Abt. 1859 in Gravelly Valley, Lower Lake, Lake County, California.
