Hi, Scott; Thanks for the response! At the time I posted my "cry for Help", I had seen posts by Nancy Nelson Phillips & they appeared to be concerning relatives in my wife's family line. The problem was that Nancy's post were several years old & the email was no longer valid. However, Nancy has recently contacted us with current email addy & we even talked on the phone. She has a wealth of info Re; my wife's, Mary Alice "Adams" Monroe, family line; esp. the Larkin line. It appears that members of my wife's family were quite important in the Newberg town & area; ie: Nels C Christensen was 1st Mayor of Newberg & opened the 1st woolen mill in the area, etc.. Seems many of her family are buried in Friends Cemetary; Adams, Christensen, Larkin, Moyer, McCready And possibly others. Nancy says she has a wealth of info which she has promised to share; so we are anxiously awaiting to see what comes out of this! Again, we want to Thank you so much for your reply!
