Emerson Orcutt was born 17 Nov 1817 in Clinton, Maine. His parents were Emerson Orcutt (b 25 Sep 1776 in Orrington, Maine) and Jane Fletcher (b 1783 in Ellsworth,Maine). I'm not sure when he married Joanna Foster Stanwood (b 1815 in Amherst, Maine). They had 7 children. Marcus M, Richard H, Edward D, Lydia J, Charles E, Amos, and Frank Herbert.
