Leon Orcutt

My father's name is Leon Orcutt. I was told that he was named after Leon Orcutt of Maine, his great uncle. I guess he was a tracker or something like that. There is a mountain named after him in Maine. Leon Orcutt Mountain. I was also told that the family comes from Scottland. My grandfather was Burnham Holmes Orcutt (everyone called him Bill). He is supposed to have had around 12 brothers and sisters. I have never heard of or met any of them. Does anyone happen to know anything about this?
