I am the grand daughter of Patrick O'Sullivan born at Filemore, Caherciveen Co. Kerry Ireland in 1875. He came to New Zealand with his older brother Timothy 3 and his parents Patrick O'Sullivan and Mary O'Driscoll.
They travell in 1876 and settled in Timaru in the South Island of New Zealand.
It is interesting that your mentioned your ancestor Michael O'Sullivan came to New Zealand and his parents with John O'Sullivan who married a Sheehan.
Our O'Sullivans were either related or very close friends of the Sheehans I believe in fact my grandfather's younger sister Kathleen married a Bart Sheehan.
My cousin in Auckland knows more about this Sheehan connection so will see if I can contact her.
You should be able to get contact details on the website for the Kerry Diocese of the Catholic Church.
Would love to know who your "John O'Sullivan's" parents where - we could be connected!!
