Thank you so much for replying. I have used the IFHF on quite a few occasions.
Most the family are centred around the Cornamona area and that appears to be where Charles originated from. I have since visited the area and have been told the family lived there for many years. The information I have leads me to believe Charles was born there. As a member of the CofI I thought perhaps he was baptised at Cong church, his parents married in Cong.
Charles'father was Martin and his mother was Jane Clarke.
It seems my search goes on.
Also, as a last note, Martin appears to have been a "souper" or "jumper" maybe not popular with the rest of his family at the time.
