My great-great-grandfather's name (there may be one more great in there - not sure) was Patrick O'Sullivan. I have been told that he and his brothers came to America from Co. Cork, Ireland, and landed in NY. Apparently there was some dispute between the family and part of the family stayed up north, while the other part migrated to the south (Georgia) and dropped the "O" from there name..if anyone else has any information on this i would appreciate it! Thanks
