Thank You so very much for your response to my posting.
I believe that my great-grandmother,Elvira Otero may have been daughter of Francisco Antonio Otero,son of Antonio Otero and Maria Lugarda Garcia.My record on Francisco Antonio Otero shows only who his parents were.It does not show where he was born nor whom he married nor when he died.
Antonio Otero was born in 1780 in Valencia-Valencia County,New Mexico.Married Maria Lugarda Garcia in or before 1831.He died on 30-March,1845 in Valencia.He was son of Pedro Jose Otero Duran y Chavez and Maria Juliana Alarid.
Maria Lugarda Garcia was born in 1785 and died on 17-May,1837 in Valencia.She was daughter of Francisco Garcia and Anna Maria Molina.
I show that the Elena Aragon of whom you asked was born in 1790,but my record on her does not show where or if she married nor when she died.However,she is not a direct ancestor of mine,but she is descended in the same Aragon line.
Elena Aragon was daughter of Miguel Antonio Aragon who was born in 1756 in Valencia-Valencia County,New Mexico.Married Antonia Rita Chavez on 16-April,1800 in Tome'-Valencia County.Died before 1873.
Antonia Rita Chavez was born in 1767(no record of where).Died before 1879.
Antonia Rita Chavez is descended from Pedro Gomez Duran y Chavez who is the predecesor of the Duran y Chavez/Duran/Chavez lines of New Mexico and the Otero line of Valencia County,New Mexico via Pedro Jose Otero Duran y Chavez.
I hope this information proves at least interesting if not helpful.
I would appreciate any information which you might be able to provide.And I am willing to share any information which I have.
