To Dr. Dennis Otero, thank you for your information. I am, however familiar with the Albuquerque Family History library and have taken notice of all of Fray Cayetano's church and pueblo appointments in New Mexico. I do agree with you that he is probably the progenitor of all of NM's Otero's. I would like to trace his history back to Puebla Mexico where he professed his priesthood and further back to Spain, according to the author Kessler.
