I have too many possibilities for this Ott line. I will list a few and then suggest that you do some intensive research in the US Census and the Philadelphia City Directories to locate the correct family:# 1. A Jacob Ott landed in Philadelphia in 1733 aboard the brig "Pennsylvania Merchant", Captain John Stedman, Master, from Rotterdam and Plymouth. #2. The following OTTs are all part of a large family of OTTs that came from Switzerland: RICHARD CHARLES OTT Son of Ernst Richard and Francisca Sophie (Ledemeister-Bremer) Ott, born Aug. 4, 1905 in Philadelphia, Pa. He married Dolly Odgers (born 1914) in San Francisco, California. They had one known child: RICHARD LECLAND OTT Son of Richard Charles and Dolly (Odgers) Ott, born 1936 in San Francisco, California. GEORG FRIEDRICH OTT Son of Johann Jacob and Francisca Elizabetha (Oschwald) Ott, born Aug. 6, 1842. He emmigrated to America. He married Clara Horstmeyer (born 1848) of Berlin. He was a machinest engineer in Philadelphia. They later divorced and he married Jeane Parrat (born 1880). Clara died in 1907 at age 59. Georg died in 1925 in Philadelphia at age 83. Jeane died in 1930 at age 50. JOHANN CONRAD OTT Son of Johann Jacob and Francisca Elizabetha (Oschwald) Ott (named after his father), born Oct. 25, 1845. On July 15, 1874, he married his cousin, Emma Camilla Ott (born Mar. 24, 1847), daughter of his Uncle August Friedrich and Adelaide Zenobia Anna Emilie (Champion) Ott. Johann Conrad was a merchant in Alexandria, Egypt. The family moved to America later. Johann Conrad died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Oct. 27, 1910 at age 67.
