Thanks for the note. I believe I have Herman listed as August Herman Ritzau, no? I will have to double check, but I am almost certain it was Clackamus County. I believe I have a record in my file which identifies the town exactly. If I am not mistaken, it was Sandy, OR. Does this help? Let me know if you need additional confirmation. As noted, I have something that notes the town.
What is your connection to the Ritzau family? Which Ritzau are you researching? I would be interested in contacting any living Ritzau's or other family members who might be able to help fill in blanks....
