Hello, fellow Dick Ott:

I went to graduate school in New York, and felt I was the only Ott around at the time. For some reason the name confused New Yorkers. I don't know the people in your search, although they have similar names to my family, but have found a small bit of information on some old Swiss Ott's that do not fit with my family (Bavarian Ott's). I will share the information if you are interested.
