Samuel C. Ott m. Elizabeth Turner and had a daughter named Ella. Samuel went to war and died a month later of measels. Elizabeth then had two sons out of wedlock with a Dr. J.W. Thomas. The sons were Wesley Johnson Ott and James Thomas Ott.
