Julie,
Don't know what this might have to do
with your family but Greenbrier Co. WVA
had lots of OTTs. I looked at the 1850
Census and I find John and Mary Young listed
he is 29 and she is 19.
It is hard for me to work out the details
on those OTTs. There are kids living with
two (non OTT) families and then there is
Michael D. OTT 42 and wife Elizabeth 36
with kids James W. 12, Addison 8m, Lockert
5m, Lucinda 2, and Samuel 8/12.
Don't know if your ancestor could tie in
to these folk.
