My Johannes Ott falls into that time frame. He was married to Elizabeth ? and had the following children: Julian b. 1756, Johannes b. 1759, John Peter b. 1761, Maria Magdalena b. 1763, Maria Barbara b. 1766, Anna Maria b. 1768, Johann Heinrich b. 1770, Johannes Michael b. 1773 and Anna Maria b. 1776. They were all baptized in St Jacob's Church in York Co., PA on the border of MD. I have speculated that the father Johannes came on the ship "Mercury" to Philadelphia, Pa in 1735. Is this a connection with your line?
