Hello Don! Sounds like you've really spent many hours searching! My Grandmother (Catrina Wilhemina Augustina Ott) married Carl Albert Frederick Kasten on March 1, 1878 in Manitowoc County, WI (about 30 miles south of Green Bay, WI). A 1928 newspaper clipping noted that "there were 10 big wagons that brought folks to the wedding...today that would equal 20 cars." They were married in Maribel, WI. She spoke both German & English. They lived on a farm at "Jambo Creek" area/Larrabee, WI near Two Rivers & Manitowoc. We know nothing of her brothers, sisters; heard that her mother might have been a Minnie Cornell.
