John Lewis Ott VA/WV 1800

I'm looking for information concerning John Lewis Ott, a recent migrant to the area near Parkersburg (Jackson, Wood, Wirt, Roane Counties, etc.) in the early 1800s. His wife, about whom I am also looking for information, was Margaret Foster. I believe that the Otts were German, and of recent entry to the Colonies or U.S. They had a daughter, Margaret, who married Andrew Board (or Boord), from a Dutch family, whose parents were Patrick Boord and Mary Keyser, from the area of Little York, Penn. The Otts may have come from the same area. It seems that there was at least one son, whose name is remembered as Fidilas, Fidillis, Fidillias, Phidillis, Phidillas, etc. (probably his name was Fidelis, meaning "faithful.") Any information about these people or their families or origins would be welcome.
