Hi Pat! First of all, how are you related? My grandmother was an Ott. Her father was Peter Ott born September 2, 1864. His father was Theodore Ott born October 23, 1836, his father was Peter Ott born June 17, 1800, his father was Joh Ott born March 10,1769, and his father was the Peter Ott born Aug. 29, 1737 and came from Germany. I have a few pictures of the Ott grandparents and was enough to locate the complete genealogy that was done back in the 1950's I think, from the first Peter Ott from Germany until now. I am interested in making contact with any long lost relatives. My daughter is a 6th grade history teacher and she got me and my husband interested in this. We have done a lot on my husband's side and met some wonderful people that are 2nd and 3rd cousins. I just think it is great.
