It's interesting reading all of the Ott family facts and comments. I hope to begin some serious research in the near future, and especially appreciate all of the help provided by Cora and Don. My branch of the Ott family moved from the area around New Albany, Indiana to La Crosse WI about the turn of the century. My grandfather, William Ott, married Susie Hopper in about 1900, then moved to WI. My father, Mervin, was the second of 13 children, b. 1905, d. 1976. Has anyone done any research on this branch of Ott's?
