I'm not sure if there is any relation here, but I have posted a message regarding my Great Aunt Tessie Lenora Ott. She was born on 02/25/1909 at Fort Tousen,Oklahoma. Father-Simon Ephrigm Ott. Mother-- Melissa Indianna Adeline Purswell. We have never found out why the Ott family were there when she was born, but do know that the family moved back to Texas when she was about three years old. I haven't had any replies to my message so far. Sure hope your can provide some information.
My Grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Ott and was 13 years old when Tessie was born. She once told me about when her family came back to Texas from Oklahoma in a covered wagon.
