Hi Jack,
We've talked before about this and I still don't know where in Baden he came from. He had a brother Amos and sister Mary from what my family records tell me. I cannot find anything to prove Amos actually existed except a postcard I found in my g-aunt's box of items. I know Mary married a Frisch in Cincinnati and had 4 children. I only know something about one of those children, Carrie who married a Barth.
So, I'll just keep looking. Guess I need to go to the Family History Library and start checking out microfiche again. Good luck in your search also (again). Lois
