Hello !Yes that's my Thomas Outram at 8 Moxon Road. He married Ellen Skelton on 25th October 1875 at Rotherham Parish Church when he was 21 and she was 19. According to the marriage certificate Thomas's father was Solomon Outram, a Road Surveyor at the time. Ellen's father (my GtGt grandfather) had died in the Warren Vale Pit disaster (Rawmarsh) of 20/11/1874 along with her brother Sam (who was 18).
So far I've found that Solomon Outram came from Darton, Yorkshire. He married Lizzie (from Thorpe), their children included John Addison, Thomas, Wilfred, James L. I don't know if they had any others.
They're at 'back of 12 High St, Rawmarsh' in 1881 census
If I've found the correct IGI christening, Solomon's parents were Thomas and Mary and he was christened 18/6/1820 at Netherfield Congregational Church, Thurlstone
Solomon died 15/08/1892 (aged 72) and is buried at St Mary's, Rawmarsh (High St cemetery) with his wife Lizzie (she died 10/05/1907 aged 86 !) and son John Addison (died 26/04/1891 aged 41).
Have you any idea who James' father was ? Solomon and Lizzie were 60 when James was 40 so if they're not his parents they could be Uncle and Aunt.
