Jud Oviatt 1883-1976 of Orange Co., CA
Looking for information on this individual's family. He was my grandmother's first husband. Her name was Elsie A. DAY and they married in Los Angeles, CA on Oct. 30, 1912. They met at a drugstore where he was the manager and she was a clerk. They had three children: Leila Arlene (b. 1913 in Bakersfield, CA, d. 1993 in Lake Grove, OR), Jud Ballard (Jerry), (b. 1918 in Los Angeles, d. 1967 in Ventura, CA) and Stanley Stephen (b. 1919 in Los Angeles, d. 1985 in Anaheim, CA).Both boys were in the service during WWII.Jud and Elsie divorced sometime between 1920 and 1923.She remarried my grandfather, Henry DELILLE in Los Angeles in Feb. 1924 and had two daughters, also in LA: Marjorie Antoinette (b. 1924, d. 1977 in Downey, CA), and my mother, Marie Constancia, (b. 1928).I am not sure if Jud remarried.Any and all information would be most appreciated and I will certainly share the information I have with you.
